I will talk more about the different types of collectables on the separate page but I would definitely recommend using a pen/paper or your phone/computer to keep a tally of your creatures. There is one which I bypass however (for ease/speed) so I will point out when to trigger this one in the main walkthrough. The Life Cracks count as Save points so you will get most of these automatically. If you find a creature that I don't mention then MAKE SURE YOU EDIT IT!! It's better to find a creature and edit it immediately, than spend hours roaming the map looking for a tiny creature that may or may not be ghosted later on. The totals for each creature type are on the collectables page of this walkthrough so you should be able to keep track. You might encounter creatures earlier or later than I've put in the walkthrough so I really recommend keeping a tally somehow. The logs and the upgrades aren't too tricky or time consuming but editing the creatures can be very, very annoying. 21 Change Logs (Some of which have their own achievement). There is one achievement that will be hovering over you continually while playing this game: corpse) and when flying around the map you'll be able to see the thin lines going to the creatures you missed. Give a creature you've already edited the ability (e.g. Once the Hiver Queen is dead you can use the GroupThink ability to locate creatures of the same type that you're missing. You can use ' Take All Behaviours' to take all of a creatures abilities quickly.Always ally a creature to yourself so that it's easier to find/summon later on.Always remember to recover life that you've used to trap a creature. You can also use this menu to apply Status Upgrades to your allies by turning to the left to find that screen.

The game really isn't that hard though and there's one creature that can take down any enemy in less than a minute so no worries! The edit menu gives you options for movement, attack ability, special ability, allies, enemies and whether it can be picked up. Unfortunately you can't edit yourself to acquire abilities so you have to rely on your allies. You're supposed to be taking control of the game world and editing is a way to do this, by allowing you to mix and match abilities. Also: IMPORTANT NOTE!! The Fully achievement (see collectables section below) only updates through the Xbox tracker when you view the inventory tracker page!Įditing creatures and objects plays a big part in the game. It's a good idea to keep an eye on this page as you go through to check that you have the same numbers as I do.
